Digging through Ancestry.com, I have learned:

Nettie May Davis (b 1882 in Missouri) married in 1899 to Samuel Joslin,Jr, (1875-1943). In 1910, they lived in Glassboro, NJ where he worked in a glass factory. Their children were Lillian (1900), Boyd (1905), Erma (1906), Gilbert (1910) and Ann (1912). In 1920, Nettie was head of houshold in Camden, NJ, with daughters Erma and Ann.

Samuel was the son of Samuel Joslin of Stowe Creek, Cumberland County, NJ. and Eleanor Robinson, of Egg Harbor, Atlantic, NJ.

Nettie May Davis was the daughter of Evan Peter Davis and Mary Jane Jenkins.

Elias Joslin doesn't seem to enter into this; different branch of the family.
