My Grandmother is Lillian Carlyle (sp.?) Joslin Brickley, born on January 2, 1900. Her Mother was Nettie Joslin Goodenough. My Grandmom always told stories about how her family had lived on a farm in Missouri next to the farm owned by the James family (of Jesse James fame). Somehow my Grandmom ended up in NJ, but I know she said her Father-or Grandfather- was in the Civil War.

Apparently Grandmom Nettie left her husband, Mr. Joslin, and divorced him. Then she married Grandpop Goodenough and lived in Pitman, NJ. I would love to know who my Grandmom's father was and if she actually lived in Missouri. She had 4 brothers and sisters (I know of Anne, Erma and Boyd). I would appreciate any information you can provide, although Elias sounds reasonable...
