Just making a note that I have (1) no further info on either Noah, and that (2) the Noah d. 1829 is by the terms of will (see NEHGS DB "Abstracts of Wills, Admins. and Guardianships in NY State, 1787-1835," p. 351 {name spelled as JAME} the father of "five" sons Samuel, John, Ansel, Noah & Isaac Newton, and "three" daughters Sally Patchen, Polly Spencer & Bethiah Landon/Sandon.

The DAR has accepted descent from Noah through Ansel, but now has NJ's file marked: Future Applicants Must Prove Correct Service. Presumably someone has noticed the 1760 bdate issue.
