I haven't check this site in a long while but today I found that Mary Isler was the widow of Nathaniel back in Brownsville, PA. No wonder Samuel named a son Nathaniel. That Nathaniel died in the Spanish American War but one of his brothers name another child Nathaniel. So the name carries on.
