Hello,
Currently, We have our results for the ancestral male Y DNA line in the E1b1a Project over at Family Tree DNA.. There are 2 male "Ishmans" and 1 male "Eastman" who share a common male ancestor.. (These Y results are only good for detecting relatedness between males who share a common male ancestor). Your Hannah Ishman being female would not match up to these type of results.. If you are a direct descendant of Hannah and took an Autosomal "Family Finder" test over at FTDNA, and we are in fact related; it may show a match to my autosomal DNA test I took there also..The Autosomal "Family Finder" test is typically fairly good at showing relatedness between males and females who shared a common ancestor within the last 200-300 year range.. Thanks for your reply! Galen Ishman
