My great grandparents, William Amiable Partney and Viola Jane Chilton Partney, had four children: James Amiable Partney, Mattie Alma Partney, Grace Malissa Partney and William Orrin Partney. Their home was in Carter Co., MO near Van Buren. Viola Jane Chilton was a descendant of Shadrach and Mary Jane McPheeeters Inman's daughter Susannah who married Thomas Boggs Chilton.
