I've been doing research on my grandma's family. She was Frances Mini Freda Drage nee. Hornburg. Her mother was Myrtle Onie Ingebrigtsen. George would have been my grandmother's cousin.

I've often wondered why Axel change his name from Ingebrigtsen to Ingels. My grandma told me a ton of stories about growing up in Chicago and having a lot of family around. I've also wondered if there was any connection with the other siblings who were born in Norway. Myrtle and Clara were born in the Chicago area. Their mother was Othelda Christine Leistad from Trondheim. Her husband was Ole Ingebrigtsen (Hjelsvold, that's the farm he was born at)

I can trace both Othelda & Ole's families back to the mid 1400's.

But, I've always wondered what happened to my great grandmother's brother's & sisters.
