Hello everyone. I am very happy to know that everyone is trying to keep in touch with everyone. Not so long ago, i posted a message on the website because I am part of a small concentrated Ibarrondo family in Yauco, P.R. Although i live in Orlando, Fl as this time, I still have connections with all of my uncles and ants and my close family of course. You know and like I wrote earlier, there is a big family of Ibarrondos in Yauco, but unforutnately all of my ants are getting older and there is one that already passed away. Her nickname was (Cuchin) Ibarrondo. She died of colon cancer. She was about 50 something. I have another cousin that died. His name was Miguel ibarrondo and he was only 30. In addittion, two other cosuins have died in P.R. They were like 20 and 21. So I do not have that many cousins left anymore. am 26 and the rest of my cousins average between 20 and 40. My mother is Ileana Ibarrondo and she has eight brothers who are Ibarrondo as well. One of them, my ant Cuchin was the one that died. Anyway, like I had already stated in the website, my grandfather came from San Sebastian while he was a teenager. He came alone and created these eight children who now have a bigger family. There are not a lot of Ibarrondos left in Yauco, but I am sure they will love to know about all of the Ibarrondos in Mayaguez and surrounding areas. If you are interested, write me back and I will provide phone numbers of my ants. I currently work for the government in the United States and I have a Master's degree in Business. I have my own business with my husband as well. he is from Ponce. I am also a first-year law student at Florida A & M University. I have three kids 8,5, and 40 days. My 8 year old has leukemia for what he gets treatments of chemotherapy every week. He got cured in 2001, but then relapsed last year. Alhtough they tell me that leukemia is not hereditary, I wonder if any of the Ibarrondos ever got leukemia. Anyway, write me back if possible, thanks. hugs for everyone
