In 1841 Census Catherine was living with her parents at Caverton Farm and James Burn was living at the next farm,
in 1851 she was living with the Burns family at Cessford.
Her first daughter was named Eliza and her 2nd son was named William, as was the custom in Scotland.
If you go to scotlandspeople.gov.uk you should be able to read her death certificate, which should have her parents name on it. According to her headstone she died on 6th November 1876
