does anyone have any info on James M. D. Howell of Alabama. He was born about 1844 in Alabama and died before 1900 probably Alabama. He married Louisa A. ? they had nine children my grandmother Nannie Lou was one of them. This is all the info I have. Family stories say he had a plantation in Birmingham Alabama was in the Civil War and lost an arm. djwa@lowcountry.com
