My Martin line ends with my 5th great grandfather Dennis Martin born 1760 in Ireland (according to the trees existing on Ancestry). Supposedly he had a wife named Elizabeth.

The last name I have information with documented sources is Dennis's son Christian John Martin (or John Christian Martin) Born in Canada in 1792. He moved to Erie New York and then Michigan. His wife was Phebe Doddy and they had at least 3 children Mary Anna, Elexander and William.

I have a lot of information on the Martin family back until they were in Canada and Ireland. I would love to find out more and possibly trace the family back into Ireland. Any information on this line of Martin's would be great. Thank you!
