My great great grandfather was Alfred Holroyd b. 1838 Rickstall Yorkshire, married Hannah Sykes b. about 1829 - the two kids I know for sure about are my great grandfather, Arthur Holroyd b. 7 Aug 1862 and his sister Sarah Jane "Jenny" Holroyd b. 1863 Holbeck, YKS. There may have been two other sibs named John and Joseph - I have no information on the family in the UK. Arhtur and Jenny both migrated to Canada, to Ontario where they lived with a Sykes family - I believe Hannah Sykes' brother (so their Uncle's place) in Simcoe County.
