Hi. I am not having much luck in locating my line of Hinds. My mother was Marjorie Jean Hinds, dau of John Clemence Hinds, b.1-11-1887, born in Parish, W.Va. His father was John Melvin Hinds, 2-2-1844, born in Marshall County, W.Va., married Rebecca Jane Wilford, b.1-15,1859, Green County, Penn. They married on 1-9-1879. I do have the Civil War Records on John Melvin, and he lists his parents as David C. Hinds, and his mother as Mary Joy (Hinds). They were believed to be from Ohio. Does this fit any of the Hinds that you have info on? I have collected alot of info on the Hinds, but so far, cannot tie my line into the info. Any help would be appreciated.
