I am a direct descendant of this line of Hinkleys/Hinckleys. They came to America with the Plymouth colonies through Samuel Hinckley in 1835 on the ship Hercules (?) from Sandwich England and settled in Barnstable Mass. They were prolific farmers and the line of descendants is huge. Spelling was changed in some lines to Hinkley. I can link you to some good follow up sites for more info
