I believe you have your "Henry Halen Hensley's" mixed up. I have not yet found proof that Enos is Henry Halen Sr's son, although Marty Grant's Hensley website does list him as one of four possibilities for Henry Halen Hensley, Sr. and Mary W Howard's son. But he also says the other three candidates are a better fit than Enos. I'm inclined to agree with you that he is the son of Henry Halen Hensley, Sr. and Mary W. Howard due to the fact that Eno and Henry Halen Jr. were both listed as neighbors of Henry Sr. on the 1850 Yancey County, Census.

Henry Halen Hensley, Jr. and Jane A (--) had two sons, Esau and William A. (aka "Will An") and five daughters, Louiza, Nisa, Mary, Elizabeth and Lovaly.

I have no more info on any of the daughters, they simply disappeared from the census's without a trace.

According to newspaper reports I have found, Jane A., Esau, Jane's granddaughter Sylvania Hensley (parent's unknown) and one other member of the family, were the victims of what is commonly known as the Hensley Burning Case.

Their cabin on Glassy Mountain, Pickens, SC was burned down on 9 April 1893, and their charred remains were discovered inside. Alternate accounts of the incident state the fourth victim was either Jane's daughter, (no name given) or her 14 year old grandson, Whitt Hensley. So far I have yet to find a Whitt Hensley that would fit here, so I'm inclined to believe it was one of her daughters or possibly or other granddaughter, Minty J Hensley who was living with her in 1880. I have found no trace of Minty after 1880 either.
