Just came across your post. Here is what I have found during my research:

The confusion over Henry Harry Hensley's wives appears to be based on a Family group sheet, that has Henry Hensley and Mary Elizabeth Halen married in 1770 and listed as the parents.

(Source number: 8821.123; Source type: Family group sheet, FGSE, listed as parents; Number of Pages: 1
Source Information
Yates Publishing. U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 2004. )

Charles Angel's will dated 17 July 1773 proves his daughter Barbara Angel was already married to Henry Harry Hensley on that date which states:
"Also I leave to each of my daughters that is married (viz) Mary Ozborn, Jemima Hensly, Elizabeth Cooke, Nancy Bierce, Frances Ransly, Sibela Hutchens, and Barbra Hensly one shilling sterling."

My research shows Henry's eldest son, Washington was born 1774/1775

The fact that Barbara Angel Hensley she's shown on the 1850 Washington County, TN census living with her son Willam A Hensley proves she outlived Henry Harry Hensley who died in 1816 so Mary Elizabeth Halen could not have been his second wife.

Based on the evidence I would say it's safe to call Barbara Angel your 5th great grandmother. She's my 4th via her son Henry Halen Hensley Sr. branch of the family tree.

BTW I have yet to find any document that confirms Henry Hensley Sr. or his son Henry Hensley Jr.'s middle name actually was Halen. I use the middle name primarily for reference purposes to keep all the "Henrys" straight. If anyone has documented proof that this actually was their middle name please contact me here.
