hi. i too, am descended from lemuel. my father is earl heath. his parents were cora bridges and verbal cyrus heath. cora's father was thomas bridges, married to ella hovis. i just found microfilm on verbal's mother, eliza settles, who was married to charles w. heath, in 1884. i went to lower dogwood ridge's cemetery in 1982, with my parents. my dad earl's uncle, dewey heath, showed us around the town. would you happen to have any other information on the heaths, before william heath? also, i have searched unsuccessfully in many missouri counties for cora bridges and her ancestors, without luck. they have cherokee blood. would you know anything about the bridges' family from missouri? i'm just curious - are you a son or grandson of dewey heath or louey heath? they were twins and were uncles to my dad. thanks for any help. best wishes. diane
