I am trying to find information on the mother of James House born Nov. 20th 1850 in either Tennesse or Mississippi. His birth certificate lists his father as William Houses born in Mississippi, and his mother as Miss. Nora Haskins born in Georgia.
James possibly had a brother named Harvey, and sister Elizabeth. And they were possibly orphans. James lived with an uncle (do not know the name) near Nashville and when he was 14 he joined the Confederate army as a drummer boy.
