My grandfather was Raymond Clifford Harden, born 1892 in Clinton, Iowa. His father is listed on his birth certificate as R. C. Harden of Ohio, and his mother as Kitty Mooney. R.C. Harden is listed as 30 years old at Raymond's birth, making his birth date about 1862, but I have been unable to locate him anywhere in Ohio. Could R.C. be Ray Harden? I know that R.C. had two children, the other being Madeline Harden, older than Raymond. Are you descended from her? I know that Raymond Clifford and Madeline were raised in Clinton, Iowa by an 'Aunt B.', presumably after the death(?) of Kitty Mooney, since the family story is that they were left there by R.C.
