Ok i know this is 15 years old but i dont care, im just happy to see that someone knows the name Hanna is not "Hannah". Every website I go to declares Hanna as a girls name which really aggravates me, but how can i blame them? It's an American website, and anyone that speaks english can't say Hanna the correct way (Seriously on google translate every language pronounces Hanna (Arab boys name) correctly except english) In America, if your name is "Hanna" and you're a girl, 10/10 chance it's pronounced like Hannah, whereas the Lebanese/Syrian name "Hanna" is pronounced Hah-Naw or if you say it in an arab accent, it's Huh-nuh
Just saying I'm glad someone knows about this name, because it's impossible to research my name on google because all that comes up is the American "Hannah" sounding Hanna, or "Hanna is not a boys name". Thanks for telling the world about this name! I am very proud of my name and will be naming my first son Hanna (Huh-nuh, that is!)
