I forgot to add that James and Jennie Hackney are Af. American. They were free and listed on the 1850 and 1860 censuses. They housed and nursed my 2nd great grand uncle after he was accidently shot (at Cumberland Univ?) during the Civil War. I found their names mentioned in an affidavit in his pension documents and would love to find any descendants.
