I am descended from his daughter Rosalia (m. John Weiskerchen). I actually live about 30 min from where they lived in Wisconsin, so my goal is to head over to the county records and see if they have anything in there. I'm hoping to find out more about 2nd wife Ellen's family and the Gustin family before Francis (probably back in France).

I notice your record says Ellen is from Luxembourg, Germany. Is this a location in Germany or is that speaking of Luxembourg the country? Most of what I've found just says "Luxembourg" as her birthplace, but I'm trying to find if she arrived in WI with parents or other family. With no last name though, this is proving to be difficult.
