Agatha J. Grzybowski, 89,
of 1036 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township,
passed away at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011,
at Mountain View:
Born Jan. 27, 1922 in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Konstanty and Stella (Gloc) Tetkoski.
She was a lifelong resident of Shamokin and attended St. Stephen's School.
She worked for the Morris Fishman Shirt Factory.
On June 5, 1946, in St. Stephen's Church, she married Jacob Grzybowski, who preceded her in death, April 6, 1974.
She was a lifelong member of the former St. Stephen's Parish, now Our Lady of Hope Church, Coal Township.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Maryann Grzybowski, of Coal Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Edward Vogeler, of Ephrata; three granddaughters, Jennifer, Andrea and Elizabeth Grzybowski; a sister, Dorothy Tetkoskie, of Long Island, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
GRZYBOWSKI — Agatha J. Grzybowski, 89, of 1036 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Hope Church, 832 W. Chestnut St., Coal Township. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, in the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home Ltd., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin.
