I too have Gosmans in my family tree.

The first one being John Gosman (my9x Gt grandfather) married to Elizabeth Broune in 1650.

He had two sons:-
Jhon Bap 15 Nov 1650
And my ancestor
Thomas Gosman Bap 13 April 1652 at Kinchappell (which I take to be Kincaple) St. Andrews & St Leonards.
Thomas got married to Helen Johnstone 30 April 1687.

Robert their son bap 1688 at Anstruther Wester is my 7X grandfather. I cannot find a marriage for him.

His daughter Euphemia who married Robert Adamson is my next ancestor.
