I just found your query re Gilpin family. I too am a dec't of this line. John Gilpin b. 1762 was my gr gr gr grandfather. I am very interested in the will of Col. George Gilpin. Could we possibly arrange a discussion of this family connection. I have been trying to tear down my "brick wall" for a very long time and would really appreciate any info or help. We are planning a trip to VA in May to trace our roots there. Thank you for any reply.
