I am a decendant of John Paul Geiger. I have seen Anne Rettew Hunters research from the Library of Congress. We were in Berwangen 3 years ago and visited the church were John Paul Geiger and Eva Marie Kiestler attended. The pastor showed us the pages of the church book related to the Geigers of Berwangen and Richen. We copied them. We were taken to the church in Richen where Eva Marie Kiestler were married. I was being used as a barn, but you could see the architecture of a church. Very Very interesting. My Grandparents were were William Geiger and Margaret Tolan. Greatparents were William Geiger Matilda Walker. Great Greatgranparents were Elijah and Mary Geiger. Would be interested in learning more about Elijah and Mary who lived in Harrisburg area mid-1800's.
