Asbury Gaskill married Mary Nutter. They can be found on the following census records.
1870-Kansas-Nemaha Co.-Granada twp., page stamped 18B, line 38. Living with them is Mary's brother, which is how I come into the picture many years later!
1880-Misspelled as Gascel, Kansas-Washington Co.-town of Washington-Enumeration District 322, sheet 17 A, which is stamped 505A, line 38.
1900-Kansas-Washington-Millcreek twp.-ED 131-sheet 8B-Page 54B, line 61.
1910-Kansas-Washington-Millcreek-ED 147-sheet 8B-Page 52B, line 67.
1920-Kansas-Ford-Fort Dodge-(Old Soldiers Home)-ED 60-sheet 11A, Page 211A, line 1.
They had the following children:
1. William Milton Gaskill
2. Warren Franklyn, or Franklyn Warren, people of that era seem to flip flop their first and middle names a lot.
3. Myrtle E.
4. Ida M.
5. Claude
6. Kanzada
7. Bertha Jane
8. Eva
9. Roy Percival
Hope this helps. Do you have an exact birth date on Franklyn? All I have is the 1900 census which shows Feb 1871. I know that is wrong because his older brother is listed in the California Death Index as having a birthday of March 8, 1871. 1872 would make more sense, I was just wondering if you had something more specific.
