We have traced my husband's family back to a Mary Wise of Franklin County, NY (Saranac Lake). Census records show a Mary Wise with the same birthdate who is the daughter of Roswell Wise (b. 1804 in VT) so we believe our Mary is your Roswell's daughter. Beyond Roswell I had hit a dead end though... no definitive leads. What sort of information do you have linking Roswell to Daniel and Mahalla?
