My name is Dianne Metz and I live in Zanesville, Ohio. I have been trying today to run down Lisa & Rhonda. I am the granddaughter of John Vincent BROOKS (1886-1964), brother of Lillie BROOKS, children of Thomas & Mary Emma Anna Elizabeth (SMITH) BROOKS of Botetourt County & Roanoke. I did some research a long time ago on the Fogle line in order to complete a family group sheet on Lillie's family. I have many great memories of visiting the Great Aunts on trips to Roanoke and Lynchburg with my grandparents from Ohio.

I believe there is still a nephew of Lillie & John's living in Roanoke - his name is Gary Davis. I lived in Roanoke for 10 years (1989-1999) and my mom (1927-2005) when visiting had talked to him a couple of times, but I don't remember how to reach him. He was the son of Lillie & John's sister Minnie who was married to William 'Willie' P. Davis. There is also one of the 3 Kitts girls left in Roanoke, daughter of Annie (Brooks) & Roy Clifford Kitts. Annie was another sister of John and Lillie. I have tons of research I did on the Brooks line, but when I moved here in 2008 I don't have enough space to unload all of my genealogy boxes.
