Thank you Roger, seems we share Pedajah as an ancestor, my line includes Pedajah and wife Abigail Petty (Pettee), daughter Sarah married Ebenezer Janes; their daughter Ruth married Calvin Bliss, son Oliver Brewster Bliss married Arpe Braisted; son Henry married Harriet Dayton, and their daugher Harriet married my great grandfather John R Phillips, DVM

I sort of figured since a sibling of Pedajah was named Bennett that would indicate mother's maiden name of Bennet(t).

I now this is a ittle afield, (and there is probably a separate thread or two) but the relationship of the second generation previous to Pedajah, James Bennett, Mary Broughton his widow, and Benoni Stebbins who I believe married Mary in 1677 is if true an interesting set of circumstances intertwined with Deerfield in 1704 as well.
