I was tracking old postings from about 1999 that might get me connections to my Cummings ancestors in Connecticut, circa 1790, and found postings by a Margaret who had an Ownbee/Ownbey in her tree, who had married a Susannah Cummings, and one of my gggfather's siblings was a Susannah Cummings who might have been named for an aunt, so I started looking for more recent postings by Margarets and found your Pierce and Bishop surnames, so hazarded a message. I have Pierces and Bishops on my maternal side, the Pierces from Vermont, as I recall, related by marriage.

People change e-mail addresses often enough that tracking down the authors of old postings takes a little luck and speculation.
