I'm a descendent of Christopher Fell, a leather merchant, born in Bolton, around 1852, son of margaret (who was born in Westmorland). No idea of his father's name. He died in 1911 at the age of 59. He left 5 children, Rachel, James, George, Anne and another (not sure), plus he fathered my grandfather (Frank Roper) with his maid, Alice Roper, also of Bolton.
