Nelda: Do you know of any MOONEY'S or CALHOUN'S or PERKIN'S in your family of FAULKS?

My great grandmother's name was Martha [Mattie] Caroline Lucinda MOONEY. Her first husband was William CALHOUN. Her second husband (my line) was Wesley Browning PERKINS.

Mattie's mother's name was M.J.FAULK. Her father was ? MOONEY. They came from Pike Co. Alabama and setteled in Upshur and or Wood Co. TX. They owned land in Big Sandy, TX. It is also believed that they lived for a while in the Chickasaw Indian Territory. This is where Mattie Mooney met her second husband, Wesley B. Perkins.
It was also thought, by my family, that the "M.J."in Faulk stood for Martha Jane but maybe instead it stood for Mary Jane.
