Wow, you do good work. That was my problem, as I have a James Allen Farmer b. 1832 d. 1925 in Jeff. Co.,Ky. marr. 1854 Jeff. Co.,Ky. to Mary Eliz. Ash. & he was a son of William Farmer & Mary Hays/Hayes & then there's this other
James R. Farmer b. ca. 1832 who married Nancy Foster & I'm sure he fits in with all of my other Farmers, but just can't find his parents names, so I can place him.
I couldn't figure out if that Jonathan Hays was a Hays or if his middle name was Hayes.
Oh, well, I will print your research out & go over it & make sure I don't miss anything.
