A Thomas Farmer connection

I just found this message board because I recently discovered a Farmer connection. My 4th great grandfather was Isaiah M Farmer (who was with Lee at Appomattox). As I trace the line it appears
Isaiah is the son of Michael Farmer (1773-1860) born in Grayson County, Va.
Micheal is the son of Michael Farmer (1742-1826) born in Grayson County, Va.
Michael is the son of Lodowick Farmer(1715-1780) born in Chesterfield, Va.
Lodowick is the son of Henry Farmer (1696-1753) born in Henrico, Va.
Henry is the son of Henry Farmer I (1657-1734) born in Henrico.
Henry appears to be the son of Thomas Farmer (1594-1681) born in Northamptonshire, England. Immigration records that appear in his record show he arrived in 1624 but in reading notes on this post, could he be Thomas Farmer who arrived in 1616?

I would love to connect with others in this line. If there is a connection I would encourage my brother to participate in the DNA project.

Thank you. Lisa
