The information that I have is that Capt. William Eller was the son of Elias Eller, grandson of Jacob Eller, Sr. He was a cousin to my great-great grandfather Warren Eller (son of Jacob Eller, Jr.). My records show that he was born on 7 Apr 1833 in Marshall Co., W.VA. He died on either 23 or 29 Oct 1914 in Auxvasse, Audrain Co., MO.
I'll have to do some further checking, Ben, but he's either buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, Audrain Co., MO. (or at the Eller Family Cemetry also located in Audrain Co., MO.).
I was born and raised in Mexico, MO. and plan to return there sometime in the next several months to do some on-site research. Hope to locate the Eller Cemetery and will also visit Elmwood since that's where my grandparents (Rudolph Worrell Green Thelma Bodkin Green) and great-grandparents (George W. Green Susan W. ELLER Green) are interred.
I will be taking pictures of all Eller gravesites that I find. If interested in copies let me know, Ben.
