My grandmother's father was Jakob Eberle, b. 8-1-1837
in Joehlingen, Baden, which is very near Karlsruhe. He
married Thekla Volk. Seems unlikely to be same person as your Jacob,
but could be a close branch of the family. My data come from FHC
microfiche. Not certain that I copied the other children of family.
