HI! I'm also looking for information on Dyers of Gallia, Ohio. My g,g,g,g grandpa George Harrison married Rhoda Dyer 3 May 1832 in Gallia. She was born about 1811 in Ohio. His sister, Matilda married a George Dyer in Gallia on 27 June 1828. Together they had: Lucretia Dyer (1834 – ), John Dyer (1837 – ) and Peter Dyer (1839 – 1916). George died sometime before 1847. I wondered if Rhoda and George might have been siblings to your Peter. Have you found out anything more about them since you posted your query?
