You can find reference to his daughter Catherine in the Metis records kept by the French until 1800 or so. It also mentions a sister of the same father being born/baptized. I believe she was one of four children born from Peter Henry Dufour b:13 May 1754. My estimation of four children comes from independent research that indicated 4 children of the same Indian mother "Sophie Couvillon" under the patriarchal name Dufor(t) which I believe is a misspelling or incorrect transcribing of a signature.
