Thanks for that lead, Shirley. I have a couple of Sarah Cummings in the tree prior to 1801. Yours may have been named for them, and I will look for Drews, Beans (and Elliots) from WI with mothers from NY in the Gold Rush in the towns where I found known Cummings kin.
