SCOTIA YOUNG COUPLE SURPRISE FRIENDS
Earl Skadden and Miss Alice Drake, both living near Scotia, stole a march on their friends last Monday when they drove to Albion and were united in marriage. Only a very few of their closest friends were told of their plans.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Drake and has been attending high school in Scotia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Skadden and graduated from Scotia High school in 1925. Both are well and favorably known in Scotia and vicinity.
They will make their home with the Skaddens where Earl will help his father with the farm.
