Mary Beth this is great and I just adore the photo. We have another connection with the Ford plant Ellens brother James had a daughter Elizabeth who married Jack Hendron and their two sons Patrick and James worked there. And yes Mary Hart was Margaret sister she married Henry Mc Corry on 11th October 1858 in St Peters Lurgan. Kinnego is another townland neighbouring Silverwood and Turmoyra. Are you on facebook I have put loads of photos and documents on my facebook for other Michigan cousins My email address is
ann_doyle@fsmail.net I dont mind posting you some docs by snail mail but its probably best you use my email to give me your address. I am so excited about connecting. This is my great uncle James (1866-1941) who mined and his wife Mary Murray. This was taken from a passport application in the US 1920. I will not be surprised if she is also connected through the Murray line. The second photo is Lizzie Doyle (Ellens niece) sitting.I have a very dear brother in law Denny Doran who is a fantastic singer and he starred as Joseph in Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat. He told me there are 4 Doran families around the town and one of them is known as the singing Dorans (his family). I have two women in my genealogy group one whose mother in law was Doran and the other has a granny Doran. Hopefully one will connect with your Redmond. I only knew one Redmond growing up and he was Redmond Derby - his mother (Maggie) is still alive and she was a Doran. His sister Brenda went to school with me (another great singer) and I remember with envy "the Yanks" coming to visit them. We are quite lucky that all the Catholic records for the 19th century are in St Peters and Ursula the parish secretary is very obliging. Talk soon Annxxx PS I am a regular visitor to the Public Records Office and General Registry Office in Belfast if I see anything of interest to you I will let you know.
