My great great grandfather Martin Marshall Morrison lived for a short while and eventually died in Alhambra, California. He had lived in Los Angeles previously, was in the oil business (Morrison Dohenny) and they sold out to Atlantic Richfield. He had been born in Indiana, moved to Kansas City Missouri and then to LA with his family. I don't know what link there is or could be to your Dinsmores, but I do know of a Morrison family there.
