I just found your post. As I mentioned in my other post I knew of a Martha Dinsmore mentioned in the family but I didn't know anything more. (I think my sister may have met her) It seems now that Martha is related to me through my great-grandfather.
I have a sister who has tried to do some research on our Walport (my father's side of the family) lineage. It gets very confusing. Apparently some of my ancestors married several times (after being widowed I'm assuming) and sometimes they weren't married but had children out of wedlock. All these "detours" in the road make it interesting but difficult to find out exactly who you're related to!
I'm sorry I can't help you with your Moon side of the family. I don't recall hearing anything about anyone named Moon.
