I have been searching for my 3rd great grandparents. William H Dingler, born abt 1822 in Pennsylvania and died 29 July 1871. I do have a copy of his death certificate. He married Emily D. I have not been able to find their marriage or her last name. They had two children, Eliza, my 2nd great grandmother and she was born abt 1844 . There is a possibility that his parents were George Dingler born 1788 and Margaret Shewell born 1801. Wm was a gunsmith and there is another William H born about the same time, who was a tinsmith.
I do know that there was another William H.born Mar 1813 and died Sept 1813. That makes me think I have the parents for because many times they gave another child the same name.
