Ciao Vittorio,

My name is Paola DiMeglio, daughter of Ciro (Jerry) DiMeglio of Ischia Italy. My father was born approx March 18, 1918. We are not exactly sure since he received the name Jerry and the birthdate when he came to the US.

My father had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. the names are crezenzo, francesco, giusseppe, vincenzo and annie and josephine.
His father's name was Nicola DiMeglio and Mother was Immaculata DiMassa.

The family came to the US to New York and then settled in Norwalk, Connecticut where a lot of DiMeglio's are.

My father passed away last year so any documents or information on his family would be helpful. I have two uncles left but none have returned to Ischia. My father never returned. He worked too much.

I am hoping to go with my mother next year for the first time. I know it is beautiful there, he always said it was.

Well it is good to know about our heritage, I have not met many DiMeglio's I have to say.
