DRYSDALE, Hubert Stephen "Steve"
- 81, Port Felix, Guysborough Co., died Friday, December 13, 2002, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 14, 1921, in South Maitland, Hants Co. In his earlier years, while in British Columbia, he worked as a woodsman and an apartment manager and was also a member of Elk Lodge, 339 in William's Lake, B.C. Steve also enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing. He will be greatly missed by, Rose; adopted son, Timothy; sisters, Catherine Lowe and Irene; brothers, Edward, Louie, Frank and Vincent; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or flowers by request. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bayview Cemetery, Half Island Cove, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. The family wish to extend a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
