Is there a location noted in the book, and where was it found?

I have several William H. Dennis's in my family tree in and around the New York area and although the death date doesn't jive with the known dates I have (my 2nd great-grandfather William H. Dennis died in 1906), I'm wondering if he might be a cousin.
