I have Dennis ancestors in Dutchess County, NY who came from Cape May NJ via Woodbridge NJ and Massachusetts Bay Colony starting in 1630, and who emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1820 (Robert Dennis, born 1786 in Kingston, Dutchess Co., NY, father Jonathan Dennis, a major in the revolution.)
