Further to your last posts. A lot of Luther's family ( siblings, nephews ,nieces ) are buried in Monroe County, PA.
I have looked at 3 states he had strong connections with, NJ,NY,PA, for his death and burial, but no luck there at all.
As for moving around the country for work during the depression, I never gave that a second thought. So it is something else to consider. However my knowledge of America during the depression is limited and didn't realise it affected the whole country. Please forgive me for my ignorance but I thought it was in just the southern states.
But I will take on board that possibility and look further a field instead of just the 3 states mentioned above.
